  • 摘要:We developed an on-demand processing service on the GEO Grid system to generate Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflecti on Radiomet er (ASTER) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and ortho-rectified images. The lat es t algorithms of radi omet ric and atmo s p h er i c c o r r e ct i o n s a r e al s o s u p p o r t e d o n t h i s s y s t e m (Sekiguchi et al., 2 0 0 8 ). W e imp lemen ted th e MODTRAN3.7-based atmospheric correction for ASTER vis ible and near Infrared (VNIR) and s hort wavelength i nfrared (SWIR) bands on our system. Atmospheric correction algori thm is able to remove Raylei gh s cattering, water vapour abs orption, and aeros ol effects wi th terrain effect s by using ASTER DEM and Moderate Res olution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Atmosphere L3 gridded product (MOD08_D3). On the other hand, recent researches confirm the superiority of rel ations hips between E nhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) and bi ophys ical parameters. Yamamoto et al. (2010) evaluates t hree kinds of ASTER EVIs, which include two forms of the two-band EVI with ASTER red and NIR bands but without a blue band and the original, three-band EVI computed with ASTER red/NIR and MODIS blue reflectances generated by the previous GEO Grid s y stem.
